Gala Curios

With a design history that includes working with fab Aussie's ksubi and Marnie Skillings, Gala is Sydney based designer, Jasmine O'Loughlin-Glover's much anticipated solo designer collection.    Taking its moniker from Gala Dali, the darling of the surrealist art scene, and inspired by the extravagance of the 'gala' event, Jasmine's designs are driven by a desire to create jewellery that celebrates excess, yet remains unduly committed to innovation.  A 2009 collaboration Jasmine Noir for Marnie Skillings collection set the tone for Jasmine's curious mix of materials and much love for oversize accessories. A 2010 summer collection of metal dipped laces was her first solo array and ever since she continues to deliver collections of strong silver and gold statement pieces bringing a new edge to everyday accessories.  Every piece has a strong focus on concept and craftmanship alongside its niche technical creation process...  These are pieces you will keep forever and pass down to those ever so dear to you  xx
