Designer and director of an ode to no one, Adi, has always been interested in using clothing as a tool to create and portray one's self-image to the public. Originally from Indonesia, Adi left his home country to pursue design after deciding a career in criminology wasn't his true calling. After studying at Sydney's Whitehouse School of Design, Adi worked for Akira Isogawa from 2002-2004, and then gained the position of Head Designer for Nicola Finetti's diffusion label 'Nylon Flocks' from 2004-2008. Under his creative direction, 'Nylon Flocks' developed as a great success, with placement in 25 MYER stores nationally and over 80 stores worldwide including Harrods London, New York's Scoop and Sauce in Dublin. The name an ode to no one is about the feeling of being disconnected from one's surroundings, the individual self-image and the way society portrays itself xx
