When summer rolls around do you too start to notice just how simply fabulous everything can be? We don't know if it's the sundrenched, hot summer days or the delight of super brights that seem to all of a sudden pop up into your wardrobe, but we have decided it 'tis the season for simple pleasures ... And all the better we are to indulge!

From the toes up!
The Nice 5 in Rougue ($89.95) from French label, espadrij originale, is just that. Yep, these babies were actually made on the original espadrille machines (yes those dreamy 1950s days) in the French Pyrenees ... Canvas body and a sole so comfortable you'll wear them everywhere from bikini clad beach days to roof top cocktailing xx

Add a Splash!
Serious summer hues this season have got to include something from the orange family ... Personally, we have a slight addiction to Mandarin ... Kj by Kirrily Johnson's Shirt Gown ($280) is just delish. It's cotton voile (so huge tick to easy care!), we can wear it a million ways (button, unbutton, belt, layer or wear loose, ok so thats 5 so far) and best of all it looks fab with our beach tan! Yes, pack it or stash it as a sweet summer essential xx

Get Sexy in Red
 If you dont have a go-to 1 piece buried in your swim drawer you need to invest ... Look for a style that is equally sexy swim style or dressed up. Strapless styles (like this Zimmermann Cut Out $220) often have halter straps too, and look for detailing like underwire busts and cut outs at back to keep it modern, sexy and totally flirty. The best bit? Poolside or out and about, it works both ways with a simple slip or a pant or skirt xx

Layer Your Signature
Forget accessory trends and just wear what you love all summer long. Seriously who has time to worry? Pick a few favourites and layer them up!  (Oh and yes, cute necklaces also make fab little stocking fillers too!)
