Kuwaii… Melbourne based designer, Kristy Barber is one of our fav’s at the moment… A playful collection inspired by contrasts… sharp and stylish, yet supremely simple, Kristy’s pieces are just designed for girls to love… Also, in the know… This lovely lady is currently interning with a very well known designer overseas so watch this space… we can’t wait to see what she comes up with next! Meanwhile check out her plait tanks, silk crop tops and knit dresses in-store now xxx

Kloset… Founded in 2001, Kloset is another amazing import from the shores of Thailand & this gorgeous label is currently in-store… think quirky necklaces and deco inspired bow belts and a passion for craftworks that add sweet detailed elements to the designs… Next, keep an eye out for the fashion collection due in-store from Feb 2010… only at Chasing Bow in Qld xxx



Limedrop… Melbourne designers Clea & Nathan have added the element unisex and make sure that you can truly share your wardrobe with your boy… from cool accessories to oversize shirts (aka dresses), slouch pants (aka harems) and slim fitting tees (aka mini dresses) their ss0910 collection is what we call the girly side of the wardrobe… Next season watch out as we branch into pieces you can share…Collecting is a must! xxx

White Sands… designer Leah Madden is a Gold Coast girl who knows what we want to wear at the beach… just arrived in-store at Chasing Bow today we are loving her pretty spotted tanks and floral print maillotts… Keep at eye out for coverage of White Sands next at Miami swim week xxx

Laurence Pasquier… if we had to choose just one label to wear for the rest of our lives we think Laurence Pasquier could just be the one…beautiful fabrics, effortless style and designed by a woman who experience in the fashion industry began at the Pret-a-Porter showrooms in Paris… need we say more? xxx

An Ode To No One… from the boy who has designed for Nicola Finetti’s Nylon Flocks and Aussie fashion great Akira, AOTNO is a completely divine collection that is designed for women to wear and feel fab in… each piece is ever so thoughtful in length, comfort and fit, that you really do feel utterly amazing… and frocks that sit around a retail of $300, you don’t have to sell your Grandmother on ebay either xxx

Now the 8th favourite is not a designer as such, but it certainly makes us feel ‘designer’ so we have to tell you a little bit more about it… Our new body products from Pure Fiji have a story to tell… The idea behind the 10 year old brand literally began from discussion around a family kitchen table… Founded by Gaetane Austin and her daughter Andree, the nautral body care products came from the practice of making traditional skills economically viable, a passing of knowledge from parents and grandparents which has the products based on traditions from the Pacific Islands… Raw materials are supplied by over 600 men and women in rural communities and the products are made by many of whom worked alongside that kitchen table in the early days. Key ingredients such as virgin coconut oil feed our sun-kissed skin vitamins A, B, C, & E as well as a healthy dose of anti-oxidents… We think it’s just delish! xxx
