Oh, So Worth the Wet Trek! xxx

Hello Lovelies!
Well half of Brisbane may be flooded and (eeeeek!) we even pulled out the opaques for a day yesterday ... but amongst this horribly wet and rather chilly weather we still see gorgeous palettes of spring continuing to arrive in store xxx 
This week so far (and keep in mind it is still Tuesday morning!), we have received the final drop from Sydney sider Therese Rawsthorne ... oh so loving the Whirlywind Dress  - perfection for a sexy event ... the fabric of this little frock weighs no more than a Hermes silk scarf ... that is what we LOVE for summer fashion flings!

   

The delivery boy loved us so much yesterday that he also brought with him 2 lovely new frocks from Tato & Memi  .... a nice burst of Blood Orange in what the girls do best ... beautiful draping .... the Julius Drape Dress has a touch of their drape perfection mixed with a touch of gregian goddess with a slightly structured shoulder ... After travelling around with their drape cardi from aw10 we can safely say that this is the frock you will love in your wardrobe ... work to play to travel to event ... and no ironing required with this fab jersey style! xxx  Also in their delivery was the Isabel Drape Dress (yes we love a good drape and just seeing how many times we can mention it in this paragraph for your amusement!) ... this is a habutai silk style with delicate bronzed beading around the neckline.  We love the peach tone nude habutai silk and softly gathered waist.... Definitely resisting the urge to try on until someone else does first! (wink) xxx

From Melbourne label Amber & Thomas arrived the Embroidered Shoulder Maxi and Sleeveless Shirt in a rich blue Atoll .... Love!  Seriously what we love about this label is its effortlessly chic styling and the way you can just throw the pieces on and look incredibly put together.  The white silk jersey maxi dress went straight from delivery to manniquin so we could show off immediately.  How fabulous for a beach wedding or even to stand out in a sea of bling at a black tie affair? Those still stuck between the transeasonal dressing into summer mode should add a burst of colour with the Atoll shirt ... in the office or over bikini's, doesnt really matter where you wear it, just as long as you do! xxx

Lots more to arrive this week ... Our C&M swim has been lost in transit for the last week so hopefully it will turn up any day now .... same with the very last Amber & Thomas dip dye frock ... both keeping us in suspense with their AWOL whereabouts!  Kuwaii's cute pleated lipstick tops are on their way and Limedrop's press-fantastic Spring Summer drop is also due this week.... we can't wait for the arrival of their quirky digital prints xxx

Hopefully you have been finding our new (read, we can edit!) website helpful with updates on latest arrivals in-store ... Soon.... yes, very very soon ... we will be launching our on-line shopping boutique ...   And if all goes to the p.l.a.n it will be up and running by the end of November ... Gotta love a bit of midnight shopping! xxx

Next we'll upload a few our our favourite moments from our NZ Fashion week trip last month ... these guys are AMAZING! xxx
